In short

Al paso con Tuililin is a dedicated walking and care service for dogs, born out of the affection and the respect I feel for our four-legged friends.

When someone trusts me with their companion, I know they are trusting me with something that matters a great deal. That is why I want every dog to feel calm, cared for and safe, with his wellbeing and his health always in mind.

I offer walks one to one or in groups of up to 4 dogs, from El Médano to Callao Salvaje, from 08:00 to 20:00.

Our walks come with rather special company: Tuililin. He is a good-natured, affectionate and very sociable little dog who loves making new friends. I will always make sure that each meeting feels comfortable and natural for everyone.

When you cannot be there, I can take care of him for as long as you need, keeping him company and making sure he feels calm and well looked after. I also offer transport and company to the vet or the groomer, always with care and responsibility.

You will get photos and messages during the walk. I have public liability insurance, and every dog must be properly vaccinated, because health and safety come first.

Because his trust is earned with time, affection and respect. And caring for each one is a responsibility I take on wholeheartedly.

This is Tuililin

Some beings come into our lives and change them completely. Today I want you to meet one of them: he is Tuililin, and this is where his story begins.

Some names are chosen with a dictionary in hand. Others are simply waiting for you somewhere in the future.

My daughter was only two when, with that innocence only children have, she asked me for a pet.

In her half-formed words she invented something magical and certain: she wanted a dog called Tuililin.

We smiled, but the puppy did not come. Time passed, life went on, and that word stayed floating in the air.

Three years later, when my daughter turned five, she looked at me again with the same eyes full of hope. She asked again for a companion.

And the incredible thing was not only that she asked, but that she still remembered, letter by letter, the name she had invented before she could really speak.

She knew her dog would be called Tuililin.

And then he arrived, marking the world with his paw print, with that little pink mark on his nose that is his signature, his light and his sparkle.

Today Tuililin is an explosion of energy, of wagging tail and unconditional love.

Knowing him to care for him

Every dog has his own particular way of expressing himself. Taking the time to learn those details makes for care that is more personal. Care begins with knowing: every dog has his own routines, his character, and needs attention that is precise, respectful and suited to what he needs.

Every stay is arranged to respect his pace, keep to his routines and look after his wellbeing, so that he stays calm, active and healthy.

Before we start, we will have a first meeting, to get to know each other and to learn his habits and his needs. A first point of contact, to build a relationship of trust and to see up close what makes each dog who he is.

To me, caring means being present, knowing well the one in front of me, and always putting his wellbeing and his health at the heart of everything.

What I do

One-to-one walk

Time set aside for him alone, to walk, explore and enjoy himself calmly.

Every walk lasts an hour at the very least, and begins with a pick-up arranged to suit you: at home, or wherever we agree.

The route changes with the day and with the dog: a walk by the sea, a path through the countryside, or simply somewhere quiet where he can enjoy his surroundings. Always with water, treats and everything else he needs.

Because every walk is different, yet one thing never changes: the time, the attention and the care I give to each one.

He comes home clean, watered and calm, ready to get on with his day.

Group walk

A shared outing, meant for enjoying the company and the surroundings at an easy pace.

Groups are four dogs at most, matched as closely as I can for size, temperament and pace, so that the walk is a pleasure for all of them.

Before he joins, we will have a first meeting to see how he gets on with other dogs and to check that a group walk really suits him.

Safety comes first throughout the walk. The dogs stay with me and under control along the way, and are given more freedom only where it is safe and suitable: the beach, the countryside or a dog park.

Every walk looks for the balance between exercise, company and wellbeing, always respecting the character and the needs of each dog.

Care by the hour

Close, personal attention for when you need someone to look after him while you are away.

From one hour, and wherever we agree, I fit around his routine and his needs, including meals and medication when they are needed.

I can also stay with him for longer stretches, overnight included, keeping to his habits and looking after his wellbeing.

Because there are times when what matters most is knowing that, even with you away, his day is still full of calm, affection and comfort.

Transport and company

I take him to the veterinary clinic or the groomer of your choosing and bring him back, staying with him through the whole appointment so that he never has to wait alone.

I know the local practices well, including some of the best regarded in the area, but your choice always comes first, along with whatever each visit calls for.

If you would rather, I can also deal with the vet or the groomer myself and pass on everything they tell me afterwards.

Adapting to the day

Every day asks for something slightly different. When the weather makes a normal walk unpleasant, I adapt the care so that it stays enjoyable and safe.

On very hot days I can swap the walk for scent work and puzzle games, or simply move it to a better hour.

Because caring also means knowing when to change the plan and find a better way to enjoy the day.

Care suited to every need

To offer attention that is safe, calm and genuinely personal, some kinds of care call for particular conditions.

My service is aimed at small and medium dogs, always looking for a good fit and for care that suits each dog's character and needs. For safety and wellbeing, I do not do training, and I do not take dogs whose behaviour could make the service unsafe for those around them.

Because behind every stay there is something that always comes first for me: his safety, his peace of mind, and my commitment to protecting his wellbeing at every moment.

Our favourite places

Every walk has a setting of its own. We are especially fond of La Montaña Roja in La Tejita, Montaña Amarilla and Montaña Chayofita, along with dog parks such as those at Llano del Camello, Adeje and Los Cristianos.

We also enjoy spots by the sea, such as El Confital in El Médano and the El Callao area in Palm-Mar, as well as the coastal promenades of Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos.

The place is always chosen with the kind of walk in mind, the conditions on the day and, above all, whatever makes for the calmest time.

The person behind it

He came home to remind us what really matters. He taught us to stop, to look at the world through his curious eyes and, above all, he gave us back the pleasure of walking.

He changed our lives so deeply that we could not just sit back and do nothing. We realised we wanted to give that same happiness to other dogs.

That is why this project was born, a dog walking service created from the heart of our family. We want to move, to walk the parks, to wear out our trainers.

Not only to give them the most fun and lively walks in the neighbourhood, but also to take them to the vet or the groomer, so they come home handsome and relaxed.

Tuililin sleeps on my bed. He follows me everywhere, even if I am only getting up for a glass of water at three in the morning. He always waits for me. Of the three of us at home, he picked me.

What I love most is the happiness on their faces when they feel someone is giving them proper time and real affection.

Yes. Care by the hour is meant for exactly that, to keep him company and look after him during the hours when you cannot be there. It fits around his routine, so that he stays comfortable and calm.

Trust matters, and I understand that you need to meet the person who is going to look after him first. That is why we will have a first meeting before anything starts, to get to know each other and to talk about his habits and his needs.

The difference is the kind of attention. This is a smaller, quieter setting, where I can give each dog time and attention of his own, keeping to his routine and to the way he is.

Whatever happens, I will act responsibly and keep in touch with you. If he needs to see a vet, I will take him to the right practice myself and keep you informed throughout.

Getting to know him, understanding what he needs and respecting the way he is. Every stay begins with that eye for the small details that let him feel calm, safe and kept company.
